Marsha P. Johnson, a resilient African American transgender activist, played an instrumental role in the 1960s and beyond within the LGBTQIA+ rights movement. Her indelible mark on the Stonewall Uprising illuminated the way for modern-day LGBTQIA+ rights.
Marsha's Journey :
Amidst the events of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising, Marsha demonstrated her presence at the Stonewall Inn during a police operation.
